simple, standard installation.
Installed like a hot water system and connected directly to town water pressure, the unit automatically refills as water is used, with no pumps, filters or fuss needed. The Seydisfjord unit can be installed outside, often under an eave, or in a well-ventilated plant room, positioned within 5 to 10 metres of the showerhead. From there, insulated pipework runs to your shower location.

inspired by the eastern fjords of iceland.
inspired by the eastern fjords of iceland.
Tucked between steep mountains in Iceland’s east, Seyðisfjörður is a fjord rich in history and shaped by raw, untouched nature. Once a key trading port and now a haven for artists and adventurers, the village sits at the end of a winding valley where nature still sets the pace.
Each spring, as the snow melts in the highlands above, ice-cold water rushes down the cliffs, forming hundreds of waterfalls that spill through the rocky hillsides.
The Seydisfjord Ice Shower captures that same purity and power. It’s like bringing a Nordic waterfall into your space at the turn of a tap.

FAQs
Does the cold water tank need to be visible in my wellness space?
The ice shower system (the cold water tank) doesn’t need to sit next to the shower head, so it does not need to be visible in your wellness space. Ideally, it’s positioned within 5 to 10 metres of the outlet. It’s typically installed outside, often under an eave, or in a well-ventilated plant room. From there, insulated pipework runs to your shower location.
How does the ice shower work?
The Seydisfjord ice shower is a mains-connected cold water solution designed to deliver consistent, ice-cold showers on demand.
Operating under standard town water pressure, the system incorporates integrated control and safety components for reliable, compliant performance. A 160-litre insulated tank is maintained at a consistently cold temperature, ensuring immediate availability and stable output during repeated use.
Select your preferred pipework, tapware and shower head to suit your space. These components are installed by your licensed plumber, giving you complete flexibility over the layout, finish and shower configuration.
How is the ice shower installed?
The ice shower is installed and treated like a hot water system and must be installed by a licensed plumber.
It connects directly to town water and is installed as a permanent, plumbed-in fixture. The system includes one water inlet and two chilled water outlet options.
Where can I install the ice shower?
For best performance, the cold water tank should be installed in a well-ventilated space. Most installations are outdoors, typically under an eave, similar to a heat pump hot water system.
The cold water tank does not need to be visible and can be concealed, provided ventilation requirements are met. Fully enclosed or unventilated spaces are not recommended.
What is the system capacity?
The ice shower has a 160-litre capacity.
It supports up to 20 ice showers per hour, based on typical exposure times of 10–15 seconds per user. Actual throughput will vary depending on shower duration and usage patterns.
