What is the warranty period for your ice baths?

Consumable items like filter cartridges, ozone generators, and UV lamps are not covered due to regular replacement requirements.
What is the difference between the limfjord and the limfjord pro?
The Limfjord is built for homes, using a chemical-free UV and ozone sanitisation system that keeps water naturally clean, perfect for low-volume, personal use.
The Limfjord Pro is built for commercial, high-traffic spaces. It adds an integrated, auto-dosing chemical system that monitors and adjusts chlorine and pH in real time, ensuring consistently safe, crystal-clear water with minimal effort.
In Short
Limfjord = Home use • UV + ozone • Chemical-free
Limfjord Pro = Commercial use • Auto-dosing chemicals • Handles high volume
What is the temperature range of your ice baths, and can they produce ice?
Our ice baths can reach temperatures as low as 0°C (32°F) and have the ability to generate ice.
How is the water in your ice baths filtered and cleaned?
Our Fjord ice baths use a 50 sq ft, easy to clean, 50 micron commercial grade filter. We recommend: Weekly cleaning for commercial use. Every 4 weeks for residential use.
What materials are your ice baths made of?
All Fjord ice baths are constructed from 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium for durability and weather resistance.
Does the ice bath require installation?
No. Our ice baths are plug and plunge. They require only a standard electrical outlet and no plumbing. Full setup instructions are provided.
How do you ensure the safety of your plug-in ice baths?
Safety is our top priority. All our fjord ice baths are equipped with RCD circuit breakers that shut down the unit in case of electrical leakage. Additionally, electrical installations and certifications are carried out by qualified electricians for added safety assurance.
Can I order replacement parts for my ice bath?

Seydisfjord Ice Shower FAQ
Does the ice shower system need to be visible in my wellness space?
The Ice Shower system doesn’t need to sit next to the shower head - so it does not need to be visible in your wellness space. Ideally, it’s positioned within 5 to 10 metres of the outlet - It’s typically installed outside, often under an eave, or in a well-ventilated plant room. From there, insulated pipework runs to your shower location.
And this is the important part:
The shower head.
The tiles.
The landscaping.
The finishes.
That’s your design.
You can work with your interior designer, architect or builder to create a cold exposure space that fits your home, your studio, or your performance facility.
The Seydisfjord system doesn’t dictate the aesthetic.
It simply powers it.
How does the ice shower work?
The Seydisfjord ice shower system is a mains-connected cold water solution designed to deliver consistent, ice-cold showers on demand.
Operating under standard town water pressure, the system incorporates integrated control and safety components for reliable, compliant performance. A 160-litre insulated tank is maintained at a consistently cold temperature, ensuring immediate availability and stable output during repeated use.
The ice shower must be installed by a licensed plumber. All pipework, tapware, and shower heads are selected by the client and installed by a licensed plumber engaged by the client, allowing full flexibility in layout, finish, and shower configuration.
Designed for wellness spaces, performance facilities, and premium private installations, the ice shower system delivers a powerful cold exposure experience with clean design and effortless daily use.
How is the ice shower installed?
The ice shower is installed and treated like a hot water system and must be installed by a licensed plumber.
It connects directly to town water and is installed as a permanent, plumbed-in fixture. The system includes one water inlet and two chilled water outlet options.
Where can I install the Ice Shower?
For best performance, the unit should be installed in a well-ventilated space. Most installations are outdoors, typically under an eave, similar to a heat pump hot water system.
The unit does not need to be visible and can be concealed, provided ventilation requirements are met. Fully enclosed or unventilated spaces are not recommended.
How far can the unit be from the shower head?
Distance affects how quickly cold water reaches the shower head.
5–10 metres is ideal. Up to 15 metres is possible, with a slightly longer delay before cold water arrives.
Keeping pipe runs as short as practical will optimise user experience.
What is the system capacity?
The ice shower has a 160-litre capacity.
It supports up to 20 short ice showers per hour, based on typical exposure times of 10–15 seconds per user. Actual throughput will vary depending on shower duration and usage patterns.
How long will it take to get my orders?
Lead times vary, please get in touch with us to confirm current lead time.
What materials is it made from?
The Seydisfjord is constructed from 316 stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium, copper refrigeration lines, and high-density insulation, ensuring strength, durability, and long-term performance.
